Weapon R Short ram Filter size...

Heh.

Did a quick search, no real info. Previous owner installed a weapon r short ram on my GF's gen3 2.2L camry. My plan is to take the filter off and replace it with a K&N, but was wondering if anyone knew off hand what the filter size is (or knows for sure which K&N filter I need to switch it out) I was going to just clean the thing with the K&N recharge kit, but realized that it's nowhere near the quality of a K&N filter.

if no one knows, I'll just pull the filter off the car and measure. but was just wondering if someone knew for sure...

thanks!

i think my ractive filter is 6 inches long, 5 inches wide at the tip and 5.5 inches wide at the base....this is pretty much the same size as the k&N....go to their website and look at all the sizes they have mayb that can help you more

Re: Intake Filter Size

Hi:

What is also important in the Filter size is the Filter Inlet Diameter.

Measure the Inlet Filter Diameter, if it is 2.5 inches for example

go with the K&N Xtreme Cone Filter RX4950. The difference is the the Extreme filter let in air from the top as well as the sides.
Better than the Injen closed top filter.

I have sinced changed to a HKS filter, 70mm x 200mm, which I think is better, my opinion.

Hope this Helps
