Yup, that's right. Had the car for 2 weeks after swapping it to a manual. Then I blew the engine. What was I doing? I have no clue. I was coming back froma car meet following my friends. Got on it on the on ramp, went around the curve at about 5k in 2nd, redlined 2nd, shifted to third. After I shifted to third. BOOM! I could here the engine crumbling beneath me. I put a FUGGIN BIG @SS HOLE in the block. I can now see inside my engine. I have no clue why the engine was under so much stress. This is not my original engine either, it's was supposedly a low mileage used one I got like 3 years ago. Well doesn't really matter now cuz it's gone. So JDM 140 hp 3sfe maybe? Gonna sleep on it but car will def be down for while. Need to focus on graduating for the next two weeks.
Thats just gods way of saying...."I hate you and your Camry" He tells me the same shit all the time, after months and months of hunting down a small Toyota emblem in the junk yard...I find it, put it on my grill...2 days later some fucker steals it.

A have a 1990 Camry. It has a 3sfe stock. Also, I do not have any money for a 3sgte nor do i really want to do all that is involved with that swap. Same thing for a 3sge. A 3sfe can be had for cheaper and I won't need any extra parts and I can reuse all my parts I already have like my pulley, lightweight flywheel, etc. Wella ctually, my Flywhee might not fit now that I think about it. The new 3sfe might be a 8 bolt. That would suck @ss. I waited forever for that flywheel. I might have to sell it on ebay or something.

yea i second that... screw you for having a car that a 3sgte drops seamlessly into!!
but seriously, that really sucks man.. i know exactly how it feels.. but it makes you appreciate your car 110% more when you get it back feeling fresh!

Talisman: At least you can clean your spark plug really easily now? Sorry man, sucks to hear that. Sounded like you were having a blast with the manual too.
Okay, before anyone else says it, stop telling me to put a 3sgte in my car. That swap is not straightforward, the engine is not cheap, and none of the parts I currently have will switch over. Not to mention I think really high power fwd cars are basically useless. I would put the 3sge in before anything else but even then I am not sure. It only has 20 more hp than the jdm 3sfe and less torque and will cost more to swap in and be more of a pain in the @ss.
Oh man, I'm really sorry to hear that talisman That's awful. Especialy right after the tranny swap. If I hear of a good deal on a 3s around here I'll definitely let you know.
I'm not trying to push you, but I think you're over-expecting the price.
Okay, here is the thing. That version of the 3sge is no more powerful than the version of the 3sfe that I am thinking about getting and it has less torque and costs more. That is not including the wiring harness and the ecu and the extra labor. And I also lose out on parts I have for my 3sfe but I guess I could sell them on here or ebay maybe. If I got a 3sge, it would be at least the 94 JDM model with significantly more money. But as you get into that range, you see that it costs a lot more. I am gonna do some research and we will see what I can come up with.
