sorta like winter storage help

i got in a car accident jan 2 of this year and it sat in my moms driveway for about 5-6weeks then went to the shop and has been there since. it hasn't really been driven much(just being moved a couple times is all) since 2 tires were blown out and 1 brake is frozen.

are there any things i should to to my car since it has been sitting for basically 15 weeks? such as change the oil or clean the fuel injectors or something.

i plan on taking it for a tuneup ASAP because i'm sure it was just about due for one anyways.

The only thing you should worry about is the battery that you can charge up from time to time. You will have to change the oil at latest once a year. Ideally you would have the engine run for a few minutes every week and have the car drive so that the brake discs won't rust. Don't worry about the rest

you might wanna replace those tires while yur at it

jk, 5-6 weeks isn't very long. as long as it hasn't been more than 3 months since yur last oil change, and you dont have a weak batery, everthing is all good to go

when it was at my moms she did run it a bit and charge the battery because the trunk didn't close and it ran the battery down i guess.

should i take it easy on the engine for a couple weeks since it really hasn't been driven or should it be fine for normal driving

its been about 15 so far...16 or 17 probably before i get it back. it sat around at the shop for most of the time it was there because the guy was on vacation or sick or some bull spit like that.

if the first drive you go on is a nice long easy one you shouldn't have to many concerns about being real careful for a couple weeks
