Greetings from a New Guy and a sunroof question!

Wow! What a resource this site is going to be!

I am in the process of buying a 2004 Camry SE V6 and have a question... (We test drove the Altima and the Camry... The Altima has a bit more sporty flavor but the quality differences were ovewhelming in my opinion plus the Camry is much less expensive.)

I do not like the sunroof wind deflector but it is included on the particular vehicle I want (SE V6 with SE Premium Pkg ONLY, no other BS, in phantom gray with charcoal leather). My question is, is this thing easily removable or is it glued/taped/screwed on? I can tell that there are the clips that go into the roof but what lies under the seal between roof and the deflector is my concern.

I have been very suprised at how hard it has been finding a Camry equipped the way I want it... It has been a pain in the a$$...

Thanks and I look forward to learning much about my new car here in this forum!

I assume it is removeable. Everything can be replaced. If not, I'm sure the Dealer will do it for you. It will cost a bit, but if that's what you want. I don't know how easy it will be to remove yourself. You can always buy a Chilton manual and check it out to see if they have anything on it (or just go to a shop and read the manual. No money needed ).
