black touch-up paint for window beams?

Hi, I hope this hasn't already been answered somewhere under some bizarre search-string I didn't think of (if so please point me there)...

My 2000 Camry is Sailfin Blue (kind of metallic), but the vertical beams next to the windows are matte black. Try as I might to prevent scratches, some have appeared. Toyota says there is no touch-up paint for these window beams, and the stuff they sell is also metallic-like so it wouldn't really work.

I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a matte paint and clear-coat (Testors? Acrylic?) that would cover up the scratches. Or am I just going to have to trial-and-error this...

Thanks,
--Mike

There are some that go to the bare metal, so I'd like something that seals to prevent rust.

Marker and clear nail polish?
