for me , when i drive 80 mph (on the freeway, not the streets!)
the rpm is around 3k... so i'm pretty sure 3k is normal for 80mph
i wonder whats the rpm for a v6 camry going 80mph...

If the tires aren't worn out or if you have a bad rim, you probably just need to get the tires balanced. cost like 20-30 bucks

yea man.. whens the last time you got your oil changed? if its been a while, you'll prolly notice a nice difference.

3K for me is at about 90 mph

also check your tires for abnormal wear or bubbles

Crusing speed should always be around 3,000RPM unless your really trying to put it down. That's where your shift points are when you accel at a normal (not pounding it) rate. It keeps strain off the engine. And you should be right around 3,000RPM at highway speeds.
