Hi! Name's Dave and I just got my first car: a 92' Toyota Camry LE. I like car mods a lot and would really like to mod mine a bit.. problem is: no money at all... Right now I could put max 200CAN$ (~150 US). I am ready to try some "do-it-yourself" mods to make it look better or change some engine attributes in any way... So, do any of you know whats the best 150 bucks investment I could do, or know what would look cool that I could do myself?
Homemade cold air intake, you can check out local junk yards for cool parts that you can either jack or pay very little for, you can get a magnaflow muffler w/o piping if you have an exhaust hook-up. Silverstar headlights for better road illumination. Basically just keep your mods tasteful, no ricey neons or anything like that, go for performance instead of bling.
I'd put that 150 into maintenance. Find out what hasn't been done in a while, or take it in to get an oil change done and have them do an inspection on the car.

^ I put together this "how to" on correcting the offset corner lamps on Gen 3 Camrys. You can do this for free. And it will improve the look a little (Camry owners will notice). The most you would spend would be maybe 40 cents on on spacers.
Like 89SV21 said, Silverstars are always good. Your lights will shine white instead of the stock amber.
However, I am hurt. No neons?
I don't think they are overly ricey. Not if done right.

get the tune up... then get a strut bar. everything else you will get bored of, but everyday i thank myself for shelling out 25 whole bucks to reduce ANNOYING body roll.
or, you can get a whiteline sway bar. im kicking myself now for not doing this much earlier.
imo suspension mods should always come first - its a gift that keeps on giving (more potential problems though)
