@#$%ing transaxle fluid

yea... its leaking. and its been leaking. WTF this is terrible... its been leaking for a while too, but i was never sure what it was or even if it was in fact my car that was leaking (shared driveway).

not to mention my cv boot is torn for the 3rd time in 2 years and is corroding the crap out of my rim.

sometimes i just wanna get rid of this damn car... but my stupid sentimentality gets in the way. cant live with it, cant live without it.

when everything is fixed, im gonna have some serious thinking to do...

worser huh???

dont sweat it dude... ive had SO Many problems iwth my car... just last week i had a huge problem, it was idling like shit and burned through gas like it was weed for me anyways, i was looking at everything, sensors, wiring, EVERYTHING... tore my car apart trying to figure out what it was... then it just hit me... its not getting enough air. so i took off the intake and it worked great... turns out some pipe i put in there melted slightly and reduced the air flow to the engine by like 40%... so i got it runnin and tonight i smoked 2 integras happy happy i am... so dont sweat it... all your hard work will come to a happy end.

thx for the support guys.

trdcamry2003 - ill keep that in mind

what dealer you work at?

my dad has a bmw 525 hes trying to sell... 167k mi, runs great, looks great, AND its a 5 spd... really fun to drive. black paint, chrome mesh wheels, leather, wood grain, 6 cd changer.

compared to gen3 v6... every few months = another new problem, ever since i got the car 2 yrs ago. i have not seen an ounce of reliability from this car... i used to convince myself that it was but it isnt. its wierd how i still love this car to death even though it is a piece of crap.

and the ranting continues... all my friends, gf, and pretty much anyone willing to listen have been listening to me bitch about this for the past day and a half.

Hey bro, my 89 gen2 has a similar problem with the cv boots ripping all the fackin time. I've gone through three sets of driveaxles in the last 2 years because they've been clicking like a bastard once dirt and other crap gets into the joints. As for the leaking transaxle, just do a tranny fluid and filter change. The kit with the filter in it also comes with a new pan gasket which should solve your leaking probs. I agree with the other guys stick with your camry, mine's been a real money pit lately but compared to other 15 yr old cars, its almost perfect.

I work at moreno valley toyota. Those bmw's are nice but very expensive to repair, even with a hookup. Have you thought about the scion tc? it's coming out in june. Or you can get a 3.3 v6 se camry.
