hey hows it going?got a question for anyone my camry is at 189hrp and I wana break the 200 hundred mark before summer and ideas?oh ya it's all stock so any help would be apreaciated.
haha, no stock 95 camry is 189 hp, sorry bud. maybe at the crank, defintiely not at the wheels. and thats only with the v6...
if you do have a v6, shiftgate performance, (www.shiftgateperformance.com) will be introducing a v6 turbo kit for 1mz motors in july of this year... look for it for around 2500-3 grand... very cheap guys... this is gonna be like 275hp on the baseline model of the kit. with modification up to 350 with electronics.
You can always follow in Gibson's footsteps and rig up a supercharger. That should give you the right amount. If you just want to break 200bhp (break hourse power(at the flywheel)), than an intake and exhaust should do it. If all else fails, NOS.

Not trying to be mean, but that can't be right. I have been working in a truck shop for the last year and we have always refered to what the engine is putting out prior to load or friction. And we really only work with engines (for the most part). Horse at the wheels is it's own thing as far as I know. No real term for it. And I've never heard of flywheel hp.

Yeah, I tried Yahoo and I came up with a HotTub sales site.
I have always been taught that break horse is at the flywheel. So I assume it is safe to say they are the same thing. Just different terms for it. Flywheel just references the actual measuring point. But I know for sure break horse isn't what it's putting down at the wheels. But the site you found was good. I'll see if I can find some stuff at the shop tomorrow.
