Yeah about the greese, ditch it. Use marine grade white lithium greese instead. That shit they give you is crap and thats why everyones rsb squeaks in a few months. I used the good stuff and I haven't had a problem and I solved YESCA's squeak with the same stuff.

Hey kenratboy good pics of the bar and good luck on the install! Make sure to post pics of the install to help us all out. Did you change out the oem coils / struts yet?
I've got a '97 v6 with eibachs + tokicos and will be soon ready for the Whiteline rsb.
-We have some good lithium grese, so we will use that.
-I will try and take pics - but if anyone here has done this before, I would love help, buy the Hayes manual gives step-by-step instructions, and it looks easy.
-No, this will be my first mod, so stock suspension - for now. I will probably upgrade eventually.

Its pretty easy to install. I helped a friend install one on a gen 3.
The hard part is getting the stock bar out and the new bar in. You just have to play with it and slide it out.
Also the nut on the swaybar endlink can be a bitch to remove. I would spray it down with some WD-40, etc... Use a 5mm allen wrench to hold the stud (center part) and a open end wrench over the nut.
Pay attention to the orientation of the bar. Worst thing is that you get the new bar all the way in then find out that its wrong.
what 88le said was pretty much all there is to know in installing one...it took me abt 1.5 hrs all up. the major part was getting the damn thing out, i ended up lowering my fuel tank on the right hand side to slide the old bar out....
to lower my fuel tank i took the bolts holding the two fuel tank bands, the rear section of my exhaust and the heat shield above it...(stock exhaust system), then i just slowly lowered it with a transmission jack, oh i did this at my local mechanics place with hoist and all, so i dont know how long it will take if u do it at home...shouldnt be much longer...
all the best mate, i'll put pics of my install up soon,
oh and i think ill be changin the grease soon to cos i'm already hearing squeaks
