I'm going to be completely redoing my interior. The carpeting is going to be replaced with truvette type carpeting in black. While doing the carpeting I'm going to be installing raammat60 sound dampening material. Two layers on the floor, two layers on the outside door skins, one layer on both sides of the inside door skins, one or two layers on the roof, The trunk will have two to three layers and the rear deck will have one or two layers. Depending on how thick the padding is on the new carpet I might install more padding for sound insulation. The headliner and door leather are going to be switched out for either black leather or black suede. While doing this I'm going to reinstall my entire sound system using thicker gauge wiring, top quality rca's and Bulding fiberglass kickpods for an 8" midbass in each kickpod. The rear deck will now be the home to 2 12" image dynamics idq v3 subs, firing into the cabin in a sealed mdf/fiberglass enclosure. My goal with this is to still be able to fold down the rear seat to allow something to pass through if need be. The subs don't require too much air space so the enclosure shouldn't be too big. The two Jl amps will have a custom fiberglass/mdf amp rack. My plan is to keep most of the trunk space useable. I will be replacing my front seats with seats out of an is300 Black with the suede type material. The rear seats will get new black leather or suede if I can find it. This all should be happening in the next month or two if everything goes as planned.
