Question Which one would u choose?

This is just another question that i have been debating with myself. i have 120000 miles on my transmission. And i want to replace it. But do you think it would be easier to convert to a manual transmission or vice versa? thanks

silver, ur such a smartass.....that aside, dude, common sense, it's easier to just put a new one of the same automatic transmissions in than it is to convert to a manual tranny.

It would be easier to replace your existing automatic to another automatic than to convert to a manual. However it can be done.

He's converting his 94' to a manual. There's a general price list there. But he is doing it himself. Automatics can be expensive to rebuild. Even more if it is a V6. It cost me $2000.00USD to rebuild my 92' V6

I replaced the automatic slushbox in my 88 I4 with another automatic...the absolute worst decision I ever made....

I can beat myself with a hammer over and over for doing that.....

Oww... Oww... Oww... Oww... Oww...Ohhhhhh

Go manual, Man......besides, there's absolutely nothing like shifting that b*tch yourself....it's a totally different driving experience...

my camry is a 96 V6. I was either going to ship my auto. trans. to level10 or just convert it to a manual.

Leve10 has been said to be iffy. You could always convert to a solara tranny.

Why get a new auto if you want to swap?

convert to manual... you can do it yourself for like 900 bucks, or if you want performance clutch and flywheel then 1500

Actually, there's a guy I know who has a Level Ten auto tranny in his Supra. The Supra is running 800HP on the street and the tranny is holding up well.

I prefer manual.....driving automatic is boring.....

You drive automatic to get from A to B....
You drive manual to drive.......

So again.....my vote is...

GO MANUAL
