ive gotta say the camry is pretty well made, ive hit two deers and now today an accident, and no dents to the car but just marks, the girl that hit me was driving a Lancer Rally or watever that shit is, her rear passenger door on the right is dented, lol but the camry walks away with scratches, anyone know how to take care of skid marks or watever they are on the bumper...
She hit you, but her passenger rear door is fucked? How's that work? I've just used some elbow grease and goo gone for my scuffs... but those are just from the garage. BTW, you can pick up some elbow grease at Autozone, they've got it for pretty cheap

If torque actually won races, wouldn't we all be driving diesels?
I got rear ended last Sept, and all I needed was a new bumper (one small attachment clip broke underneath), and a new exhaust tip. If someone else wasn't paying for it, I would have left it be- and I'm anal about my car.
The person that hit me was driving an early 90s Plymouth Sundance. Her car was totaled. Airbag went off, front end was gone, ect. It wasn't even drivable, not that she could have drove it away anyway (WI/or Fed law says you can't drive a car with blown airbags)
I know that front ends are made to absorb impacts, and Plymouth Sundances aren't exactly the best made cars, but for the speed she was going when she hit me, I was impressed in how my Camry performed in the accident.
I just can't help but wonder how well my car would have performed if the situation was reversed. Hopefully, I'll never find out.
back in dec 2000 when i had a gen 1992 v6 camry (i miss you v6 power )...bastard ran a stop sign 2-3 blocks away from my house ...it was a jeep cheeroke... i got out and he got out....he was bleeding from the ears.. all i had were cuts and stratches on my body...and bruised up too....but dam to bleed from the ear.... yikes....
p.s. both our tires flew right off the car, and i must say, i got outta the accident better than he did...
I was rear ended by my friend in a Buick Lesabre. He was going about 25 mph at impact.
All that happened was the light pooped out and the bumper got scratched as hel. No dmg though. I popped the light back in and now Im gonna paint the bumper and it s gonna be good as new.

all these bulletproof gen 3s. Here I am in mine one day, backed into a flower pot at the grocery store (the ones with a curb and grass) and busted my muffler.
Well, the Gen-5, say what you will about it good or bad, is supertank. I've told the story here before, but for those who haven't heard it, I took a hit on the driver's side from a 5000# Chevy Tahoe which was doing 40 mph at impact according to its driver. Thanks to that car and its side curtain airbags, I'm still here.
have any of u guys seen the tacoma commercial..where the taco falls from a cliff and the g/friend is exited..but the truck comes out like a tank (not a scratch)...i just thought that fitted well with what u all were talking about...
Haha yeah, I like the one where the monster truck hits it and flips backwards.
