Is it good to drive with the power button on or off? When I got the car it was already on so i've just left it like that. Could it being on be one of the reasons for my terrible gas mileage???
p.s......I swear it's getting worse every fill up. A few fill ups ago I got about 230 miles to the tank. Then about 200 miles. Then my last fill up I got 179 miles. Now i'm gonna have to fill up tomorrow and i'm at 160 miles?!!! Saving up for the 60K mile service.
Is it better to get a tuneup and the 60K mile service or just the 60K mile service?? Please leave comments.

TURN IT OFF. it makes the car shift more aggressively, at higher rpm. and yes it would affect mpg. turn it off and see what happens.
also pump your tires up a bit (be sure to go by cold psi). i am 3 cold psi under the limit, and ive been getting 23 mpg avg (70%-80% fwy) for the past few months. if you do this, u gotta drive a lil bit more careful though.

PWR button just tells your transmission to shift at higher rpms, so yea your gas mileage wuld be better with it off. Also though its getting warm, are you sure you're jsut not stomping on the gas a little more now
if you do the 60k service and a full tune up yo ushould be good to go man, your car should feel like new

yup some of the stuff overlaps but just make sure that all the items included in both procedures are done. Trust me you'll love the feel of the car when you get it done

yea thats about what i was getting for a little while... like they said check ur tires turn the ect off... and what kind of gas do you use, that made a difference for me different companies have different qualities and regular unleaded fuel i burned the hell out of so i had to try a different octane. im gettin wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better gas mileage as of late. also u might wanna check ur air filter. cuz i really started getting better gas when i put my ram intake.
Dammit why do so many people on this forum use "miles/tank" as a measurement of their gas mileage? It's not that hard to divide the number of miles you have by the number of gallons you used to fill it up at the gas tank. MPG!!! Miles per tank is so damn subjective. What does anyone consider a "tank" seeing as how there's no way you'd ever fill it up while it's on E. I fill up at the 1/4 mark on the gauge, but that doesn't mean anything. MPG is a way more representative way of saying what kinda mileage you're getting and yet 90% of the posts I've seen on this forum keep using the MPT crap measurement.

dude stop doing that. THere was a thread that went around recentl ldiscussing the ill effects of doing what you described above. You could be causing damadge to your fuel pump
I expected better than that Dave
