Need help with exhaust system

I am interested in getting an exhaust system for my camry but am not sure on the size of the pipe. everyone i have talked to have suggested different pipe sizes from 2" to 2.5".

Does anyone know the optimal exhaust pipe size to give optimal power and torque?

My car is a 93 Camry with the 2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine, equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission and K&N Air Filter.

for i4, i think the optimal size would be 2.25"

for v6, it would be 2.5"

anything bigger, you would actually lose low-end power.

but if u plan to go turbo later, go either 2.5" or 3"

has to be custom...jus had mine done today..a little pricey though...find the thread that i made

Had mine done friday, 2.25 from headers, with no resonator, and 4.5 outlet BOMZ exhaust
