^ shut up noob...

you say, look for tony's post... he has a lot of posts haha

wicked, if you are gonna turbo, you dont need headers... im pretty sure ben is making headers with his turbo kits... if i were you i would worry about saving up money till the kit is done... then worry about the little shit afterwards. exhaust before turbo is gonna be completely different from exhaust after a turbo... size should be 2.5 inch before, and 3 inch after. custom im talking... also the routing of the pipes is gonna be different.

oh, and i dont know about the size of the throttle bodes, 3vz, 1mz, 7m and 2jz. i will find out soon tho, i have 3 3vz TBs here, 1 1mz, and access to 3 7m TBs and 1 2jz tb. sorry for being off topic on that.

like what i meant but headers was the exhaust manifold and the additional header in the back of the engine. but like i was planning on getting a cat converter and the exhaust pipe at 3" now and put it on later when i have everything. because i want to put everything on once i have everything. and believe me i know all the custom work that is goin to go into this.

Cant believe i got flamed by a NOOB, HAHA
me with hammer hitting noob

that "noob" has been here since jul '03...

your "other header" is the intake manifold...

your exhaust manifold will be changed into a "turbo manifold" once you get the turbo..

headers are the exhaust manifold, but in non turboed cars...

you said you're going to get 3 inch exhaust piping and put it on later...

i think you just answered your own question..

Razo ok i have a v6. so there is a set of headers. i know what the intake manifold is. there are headers behind the whole entire block that u cant see. go to search adn look up custom headers and there is a dude called bucket of rust or sumthin like that and he showed a picture of the two headers that go on to the 1mzfe. i know that i have to have a custom exhaust manifold for the turbo.

Why do you want headers if your doing a turbo?

What you need is a turbo manifold.

He has a V6, there are no turbo manifolds for a V6.

Tony has headers, should we tell him to get a turbo manifold too?

there are turbo manifolds because if there wasnt then how would the exhaust that spins the turbine get to the turbo? so to run a turbo u need a least 1 turbomanifold and a header in the back and u use the downpipe to connect them in the end.

Headers or stock manifolds -> Y-pipe -> Up pipe -> Turbo -> Down pipe -> Cat....

That way you drive the turbo with both banks. By the looks of the Shiftgate site (although it hasn't been updated in a while) that's how theirs will be also.

Check out Tony The Tiger's web page as well.
