i own a 96 camry 3vz-fe (which is the same as the 92-94 camry the US), from memory the ES300 and camry use the same body only the lexus is different looking front and back. has anyone tried to put the lexus front on a camry? in my opinion the ES300 looks much better with a bodykit

also, would it be expensive to do?
any help would be appreciated, thanx guys
yeah someone did it to their wagon, i think it required a lot of custum owrk i dont know if it is a straight bolt on. but i know that i am doing a similiar conversion to my cam but using a 97 es300 front, but here is a pic of the es3 front on a cam wagon
they look similar, but ALL of the sheetmetal is different...
the doors, for example have NO FRAME, and the rear door cuts into the body...
the trunk is shaped different, and is contoured to the taillights, also the rear bumper is different, and the rear fenders have different shape...
the front has a different hood, fenders, lights, and bumper...
those may bolt on, but seeing as you are getting a body kit, you might just want to find out if the body kit uses the normal mounting points, if so, just grab yourself some headlights, a hood, fenders, and get stared..!
keep us updated...
ps...
if you have a 96, you have a 1mz, not a 3vz..

thanx guys for the feedback. all i wanted was the front of the car changed, the rest can stay 100% camry. sounds pretty time-consuming tho

im not aware of any changes to the 3vz, although there may be variants as there are twin cam and quad cam V6s, i dunno. mine is quad cam, same as the one in the Lexus (that was my dad's comeback when i sed my engine wasnt good enough).
yeh they would have stronger blocks because they are heavy ass cast iron compared to the alloy imz. iron is more resistant to heat or something like that... so yeh more boost! haha.
jus a quick question, if the US gen3.5 came with the imz, why dont i ever see any of them supercharged? isnt the TRD superchager made for the imz?? hmm...
