Okay, i've read enough of the 5S-FTE vs 3S-GTE battles to totally confuse myself.

are there any REAL figures here?

does anyone have dyno'd horsepower or 1/4mile times???

Your question here is very vague. First of all of all are you asking stock motor vs stock motor comprison? 5S-FTE is never a stock motor because it never came with a turbo from the factory. Second of all there are a lot of different variation of stock 3S-GTE engine depending which year/model they came off from. So it would be hard to compare the two due to differences in aftermarket parts and tunings.

I suggest you go on google.com and do some search for the two engines and answer the question yourself. This way you will learn more from it rather than trying to get a simple answer.

i'm not needing that specific of stats. and i'd rather know what a real person is getting on a turbo'd 5S-FE, i know steve's crumped before he got it dyno'd. i dont know who else has done the burien kit. i know karma has done a custom turbo. does anyone know what kind of specs he's running now.

With that turbo kit on a stock 5S-FE, it will not get you anything higher than from a stock V6 figures.

Read my sig for figure I put on the wheel.

I have a V6.

You won't be able to up the boost by anything more than 1-2psi unless you build up the motor or get a bigger turbo with intercooler. It's not as simple as pressing the button.

Burien Turbo for the 5S-FE runs at 5-7 psi max. on the stock engine. Anything more, you'd have to upgrade the bottom end of the 5S-FE.

At 5-7 psi the dyno numbers will be at about what a stock V6 Camry is (145 - 150 fwhp and ~160 lb.ft)
