Hello! Possible Suspension Problem?

Hi guys, i'm new here and would like to discuss something about my dad's 1990 Camry station wagon (i believe it's a second generation). It was bought brand new and has been trouble free except for a new clutch and wheel allignment. We are replacing the car but that's not the case.
I decided to go fast around a corner right after I dropped my friend off and while going 25 MPH on a 90 degree right turn, my rear right tire lifted off the ground and was spinning in the air!!
This is the suspension right? Or... i'm confused. Lately i have heard thumping in the rear but am not sure.

I don't know what the problem would be... the body roll forced the suspension past it's full extension, and thus lifted it off the ground... unless you were still on the brakes and that wheel kept spinning, there shouldn't be any problem.
