Question would the internals hold up

i have a 96 cmary V6 and was wondering if the stock internals would hold up for a while under about 6-8 psi of boost? thanks

It depends on the mileage... That should really be ok for a low mile engine for sure.

The compression is 10.5:1 on the 1MZ-FE. I'm currently running the 7 psi pulley on this motor. On colder days, I see anywhere from 8-9 psi.

what kind of engine managment are you going to run. the amount of boost also depends on how good you can tune the car.

its hard to say. the hard thing for us is we dont have any plug and play systems like man y of the popular tuning cars have. for us we have to splice wires and its a very messy job that you should really take to a professional shop. if it was plug and play we can do out own installs in 1 or 2 hours. since youd have to splice wires anyway you can get any kind of ems because it would be a custom job. there are a lot of different ems ist just depends on how much you want to spend. i'll look around at the info i have and i'll drop some names of ems's later
