The 97-01 sway bar will fit...as long as you use Gen 3 bushing brackets instead of the Gen 4 ones they supply with the bar...you can use your old ones or buy new ones for a few bucks.
The Whiteline bar is cheaper. The only difference is that the TRD bar is an adjustable 2 setting bar, street/track. The Whiteline bar falls between the TRD bar's settings as far as stiffness.
imho the Whiteline bar is sufficient but in hindsight I would have liked the track setting on the TRD bar a little better. Most people say its too stiff on the track setting. ...tho I'm the type who doesn't give a shit about comfort.

Dude, if you are planing to install a TRD bar. Go for it. It works great. I have a 1997 Toyota RAV4 with front TRD Sway Bar and Addcco Rear Bar. You just step on the gas and it will go where ever you tell it to go. Oh, BTW, no clean man, but they work. Good Luck.
Thanks for all the replies guys I really appreciate it. I found the bar actually on this site, http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/solara_rear_sway_bar.htm I hope this is the right one to get. It didn't say if it was adjustable. But I believe it is, so basically all I need to do is buy some gen 3 bushing brackets and I'm all set right. My next question is I've heard that all bars (whiteline and TRD sway bars) squeak! I have also heard of methods such as using a certain type of grease, others also used some sort of tape and grease. I am still confused what I should use to limit the squeaking. Also is there another place that is cheaper than the website I found?
Hold up now... a Gen1 Solara RSB will fit a Gen3 Camry with the only change being the bushing brackets? That is the coolest news I've heard in a loooonnngggg time! Should probably get the Whiteline endlinks too though.

Thanks again,

Dude, I got your back. Go to http://www.suspension.com They have everything you need regarding bushings, grease. And best of all. They have great prices. Funny, my TRD Sway Bar is orange. Anyway, it's as strong as nails.
i have had my TRD rear sway bar on track setting since i installed it on the first day...but then again i autocross so i knew the tail end would want to step out in a hard turn, and i know my car well and what to do, how to countersteer & not end up in a ditch/wrecked.
as far as the ride being stiff...i noticed only that the car turns in better & body roll is cut down somewhat. ride quality is not harshly effected at all, in fact when my mother rode with me after it was installed, she didn't even know i had done anything to the car
but if you are unfamiliar w/oversteer & understeer then you most likely need to start out w/a street setting on the bar and learn how the car will behave. start w/baby steps is the best way if you are inexperienced.
as for the squeaking i suggest using only the marine lithium grease, you can get it at wal-mart for like $5 for a big can. i regrease my bushings every 6 months and have only heard slight squeaking when it is time to regrease them.
if you have to get new bushings anyways you can order the black carbon impregnated ployurethane ones which do not require greasing and do not squeak from www.energysuspension.com.
Good Luck
Keri

Thank you very much that is exactly what I need ripley;s 99, also thank you for the info about the grease warped. I intend to buy the TRD bar and get those bushings from energysuspension.
Again thanks!
Can you guys confirm for me that we are talking about the TRD Rear Sway bar for a SOLARA? I never read anything about a Solara on this post, but the above link was for a Solara bar. It sounded like you guys meant a 97-01 Camry... I don't know shit about Gen4's, so if they are interchangable with the Solara, that'd explain it. Could you guys tell me if the TRD RSB for Solara fits Gen3 Camry so long as you use Gen3 brackets, with a yes or no answer...
