Hey Guys Ive got a 94 coupe and am thinkin of cutting the fenders and modding them to widebody style.....pushing the back edges 2" or so further than the door seam..waddaya think???
^
Those aren't flairs. Unless they had custom made flairs. I haven't ever seen any that go that far our, and that fit that well to the body. There full fenders. Custom at that.

I like the way the front fenders are stock, but if you were to keep the same lines, just an inch or two wider, I think that'd be cool. And try to get some sort of style going on on the rear fenders... they're so plain, but no extreme angles like that M1 Camry

no no guys i mean im goona cut the fender right next to the bend at the hood/fender seam and then trace the back of my corner lights.....that said...
I will then weld in a very long / thin triangle of sheet metal so the fender keeps its factory look but the back edge is 2" further out (wider) and the front edge is origional....
Cutting behind the light to ensure i don't kink the metal.....
I'll also have to widen the bottom of the back edge near the rocker.
and yess wheel spacers will be a definite requirement.
im thinking of doing the same fer the back of the fenders too
not sure tho....
maybe a continental kit????(fill in the wheel well opening?)

I know it's a waste of money, but IMO it looks pretty good. Very agressive.
