Please keep in mind that these were done with spray paint, only one coat in these pics with no clear or final buffing. The pics don't do justice to them at all, the look black but if you look really close you can see that they aren't. The color that they appear is gun metalish I guess, its almost black but somewhat silver with alot of flakes. The came out nice for only one coat. Time to wet sand and re-spray!

wheel america in houson you get a package deal for all resurfacing's and power coatings close to 200 bucks. I'm sure there are stores by where you live too..who do similar services....Regardless: your DIY job is SUPERB
Thanx guys...I think this is my first diy that everyone has had good things to say, makes me smile. This is what I did, Sanded the entire rim down with 220 dry, then did a 400 grit wet sand, washed, dryed, and cured for 2 days, * I was lazy* Got back on it with a 600 grit wet sand, did a second coat let them cure for about 30 mins each in the sun and sprayed them all with a coat of clear. Today I went back over all of them with final coat of clear. Ended up finding a few runs in two of the rims where I slacked off and had to resand and repaint them. This is where I fucked up. I don't think I gave the paint enough to set up before I ran a coat of clear, that and I was out of paint...so when I cleared it, it cracked the paint all over the rim. So I resanded it today with a 600 wet grit, im gunna re-do those two rims tommarow with the 220, then 400, then 600, spray, wet sand with 600 spray then clear them both with two light coats. Ill take pics of the two finished rims tommarow. They almost look wet in the sunlight, the glare off these rims is as bright as crome glare. Oh yea, it took me about 10 hours so far, but ive been dicking around with em...Im in no rush to get em done. Id say I got about 3 hours left of work *all times include drying time*
