no problem in keeping u posted. i got my t3 turbo 2 days ago. but this is a project. i am going to go with the suspension first and then the engine and turbo setup. right now i plan on getting dropzone lowering springs. i dont know what kinda stuts i should get. does anyone have any advice on struts? thanks and any advice is appreciated.

Would be cool to see another turbo 1MZ-FE... I would love to know what internals, parts and transmission you will be running. It is always good to have another person testing things beforehand instead of having myself testing out all the sh*t for the first time Keep us posted

-S-AFC II (that would be the Apex'i air/fuel computer... has a ton of nifty little functions)
-Electronic Boost controller (expensive, but much more effective than the cheap manual boost controller)
-Turbo timer (to let the oil in the turbo cool down after driving to prevent damage)
-Boost gauge (some turbo timers come with one built in, like the Blitz unit and I think some of the HKS ones and Apex'i)
-Oil pressure gauge (important to keep an eye on this)
You could probably be alright with all that stuff, there's more to be had, but its not all necessary unless you plan on going all out crazy with it.
dont forget a blow-off valve for that pishhhhht

^^save urself some money and headaches....and do it right the first time....build ur block...run proper fuel/engine management...start off with ur T3...then upgrade to a bigger turbo later on for ur 500whp...ur motor will love u for it and not blow up.... :P
u will need alot more then a s-afc to tune u into the 500hp range....full EMS is more like it...lots of money...and a compentent tuner will get u there....

i already plan on building the block up. and i know its going to be alot of money. thats why its a project. but for right now im going to worry about the suspension and handling. so i can just go ahead and get it out of the way now. do any of u have any engine management recommendations? thanks

gotta build the engine up for 500hp. you cant do that with stock internals. AT LEAST, the headgasket blows between 15 and 20psi, and the pistons will prolly fry after that. if you wanna wait another month and a half or two, ben will have his kits ready for the 1mz. www.shiftgateperformance.com
that should give us 300whp at first, tuned up to 350.
then over the winter i plan on building up my motor, pistons, rods, copper head gasket, oringed block, rebuilt heads (maybe some performance stuff in the head, but im not sure it needs it yet) I would like to see my redline higher, but im not sure there is a way yet... maybe webcams will modify our cams? i dunno...
also i will prolly be running either the aem ems or greddy emanage this summer. all the seperate electronics together add up almost to the cost of an ems... so why not do it first... you will need gauges. whoever said that stuff before forgot the MSD ignition and EGT gauge, those are good to have.
big p, a blowoff/recirculation valve is always part of any turbo system... cant have a turbo without it. well you can but your shit will blow up. either turbo or engine or both will blow real quick.
no, you can not have a turbo without a blowoff valve. in the case that you dont have a "blowoff" valve, it will be a recirculation valve, that recirculates the built up pressure back into the exhaust. otherwise there is no way to let off the excess boost pressure...
