clock and radio presets not staying in memory

My clock settings and radio station presets are not staying in memory after I turn off my car. Fuse is o.k. and battery is charged. This first happend after I installed an aftermarket power antenna as the motor on my oem antenna burned out.

Could the wiring of the aftermarket antenna be causing the problem?

Where else can I check?

could be battery contacts...Did it to me when I first picked up my car.

Now if the last thing you installed was that antenna, back the install out and see if the problem goes away.

No constant power. Your 12v ignition is powering both for some reason. Is the deck stock?

^ thats impossible guys... there is no way for the stock wiring to just get disconnected and reattached to another source.

the stock clock memory and the radio memory are hooked to the 20amp DOME fuse... this may be out. check it!

Bingo Zoni_Camry. I just logged in to report the fix but it looks like you beat me to it.

It's the 20a dome light mini fuse. I decided to check all fuses and discovered the dome light fuse was blown. Replaced it and the clock and radio station presets look like they are now being retained when the car is turned off. And yes, equip is stock.

The fuse must have blown when I was installing the aftermarket antenna and searching for constant power and antenna power voltage.
