Need opinons and help on painting my calipar's and drums..(Pics)
What color should I paint them?? Why type of paint will I need?? How difficult should it be?? What exactly has to be done for it to look good?(Removing parts wise) Opinion's on color to paint them, and directions on what exactly to do would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any info......
I have used to search button, but didn't really come up with anything I wanted to ask.
......also drop pics of what you've done to your Camry's.(Preferably gen 3's)

I was gonna edit my post and say, *Or should I save up for some cross drilled or slotted rotors and just get brand new calipar's and disc's in the back* How much would it cost me for the parts, and for installation, because this would be too big and hard a job for me to do myself?(Wanna lower my ride too, but same situation again, would be too big and hard a job and expensive right now.

Type of paint: High temp engine paint (Dupli-Color) or caliper paint (VHT, etc..).
Clean off the calipers before you paint them. Scrub em with a wire brush, then spray them down with brake parts cleaner.
Remove the caliper from the car, mask it off (piston, bleeder screw, and hole for brake line), then paint it. But you have to bleed the brakes afterwards.
You can also unbolt the caliper, but don't unbolt the brake line and paint it. This way you don't have to bleed the brakes.
I would also unbolt the caliper bracket and paint that too while your at it.
check that site, good paint, with a brush and the cleaners... there is also a detailed instal link- all it takes is removing the wheel and not painting what you shouldn't!

zoni's thread was about a big brake kit for gen 3... not switching rears... i might do that at some point, but for now i still have drums on the rear. also, i might be selling my mkiv supra front big brake conversion kit... i dont think it fits my new wheels. havent tried actually though...
I vote for lower before caliper paint... but when you do paint them i say gloss black not silver... silver would not look good on a tan car with white wheels.. what is that matching?

Me and my friend were thinking of buy it together. He only wanted to paint his calipers so he had some paint left over of which i could paint somethin. But i had steelies and they cover the calipers up so i didn't do it.
