hello all .......... I'm glad to make my first post here,
I am trying to find out how large of a rim I can put on my 2003 Toyota Camry LE ........4cyl. I would like 20's but I am afraid that they may rub/hit the body of the car when I hit a bump........Therefore, do I have to go with 20's???? I would appreciate any opinions or suggestions.........including size and the specifics on lug patters etc.............

Originally posted by war0827 i've got 18's and i think that going any more than 18 is going to be too much. especially 20's. if you want performance and style, go with 17 or 18.
If you want performance, go with 16". He's got a 4 banger as well.
I missed that it was a gen5... 20's will fit, not sure with what tire size tho. I think the biggest I've seen on a members gen5 is 19" with the exception of that white one with the spinners but he's not a member.

finding 20's in a 7.5 inch or 8 inch size is pretty hard. You either have to go custom or have to do a lot of research.
If you want to get some info or see if someone can help you, i used to work at a wheel shop and my boss knows EVERYTHING and ANYTHING about wheels.
You can call him at 323 464-4500 and ask for HOVO. Tell him that Yukio sent you. He takes care of my referrals pretty well. Hope this helps. He may be able to find a 20 incher that has the correct offest and width.

xpeed, you're not really helping the guy....wrong kinda car, wrong choice of rims....plus the fact that those wheels aren't even ON the car (just in front).
I didn't know that you could fit 20's on the Gen 5. I realize that the wheel well is noticably bigger than the stock wheels (they look puny), but damn....20's? I don't think I would go that big if I had the choice.

Originally posted by UfoZ8myCow they arent even on in the front. no way in shit that 22 would ever fit on a civic unless there was some MAJOR fender rollage and you cut out like the entire backseat to make room.
when I said "in front", I meant in front of the actual wheels in the picture, not "only the front wheels are on". And yes, you'd prolly have to cut a friggin' ditch into the Civic's body in order to get those on.
