How to remove rear deck speckers ?

Hey guys


I Just brought some Polk Audio 6x9 rear speaker which im looking to setup since i just got a new Pioneer head unit too. I took a look in the trunk the rear speaker's seem to have to be removed from inside the car but the black thing covering the speakers inside the car doesn't seem to be able to come off just buy looking at them.

Do I have to pop them up or something ?

You didn't mention what year? On gen 3's and 4's, the whole rear deck has to come out. I'm not sure about newer gen's.

I thought so, but wasn't sure. So the first few steps in this DIY for rear strut R & R shows how to get the rear deck out on my '92 Camry.
