i'm just wondering how many damn cars share a chassis with a Camry...

list any that i dont have (all years, any manufacturer):

Toyota:

-Camry (USDM)...
-Camry (JDM)...
-Scepter...
-Camry Prominent...
-Avalon..
-Solara...
-Vista...
-Highlander (i think, dont quote me)...
-Mark (number varies)...
-Harrier...

Lexus:

-ES...
-RX (once again, dont quote me)...

MARK II is not a camry variant...its variant of the old cressida..which are a variant of toyota chaser...(AND NO avalon is not a variant of the cressida's as some on this site have indicated..)...its a variant of camry (like you indicated).

Edit:

The ES and windom are the same car! and the Rx and other one oi forget (harrier??) are the same as well....yeah..both are variants under the camry platform!

yes....im not stupid....im jus sayin that my friends maxima (EVIDENCE, o yeh...hes on the boards) is VERY similar to my gen3....in terms of chassis / rim offset / engine component placment....jus sayin the gen3 max is the cousin of the gen3 cam

The Highlander and the RX were based on the Camrys, I thought, but modified to be SUV's. If that's the case, the Sienna is an offspring of the Camry too, right?

yeah...long term propspects for both highlander/rx are that they want it to become a stationwagon suv for the camry....let's wait and see...

it doesnt have to come from the camry, the camry can come from it...

For one thing, Maximas don't have independent rear suspension.

Your Maxima friend should know this.
