Where did you guys get your battery tie-downs?
My battery is flying all over the place, I was thinking get one of those plastic boxes at autozone, or should I go with tie-down? Where do I get one, I couldn't find one at the store

i think all u have to do is basically run wires like for a sub but the other direction then through the firewall to the bay....shouldnt be any legal issues....u might wanna tell the people who inspect ur car that u put it in the trunk...but other than that...i see no reason...and this plastic box u talk about....how do those work?

seems like a lot of work.. i'd have to take off all my interior to run the wires thru?
the box is just a plast box, you put your battery inside, and snap a top lid on it, and tie it to the engine bay with some clips and some sort of riboon or what ever it is. Box got openings for two wires and that's about it...

^hmmm...might have to make a trip to autozone tonight...it seems like a lot of work...i guess thats what u have to do...try a search and see what u come up with....that seems to be the only kind of reasonable thing to do unless there are wires that can be tapped in the trunk

yeah, I just did a little search. I won't relocate it. It's too much hassle, and it won't help me much, plus all that acid from battery, I'll just let it stay where it is, just maybe get that box so it would stay in place.
As far turbo goes, I think I'll fit with the battery as well. I'm not even sure I'll have that kind of money to turbo my car any time soon.

I have always wondered about locating battery to trunk. Batts need venting right? I mean with acid and electrical draw plus constant charging, the thing does lets out corrosive vapors...so in my trunk? A sealed area that I share? Na, I think the sob can stay under the hood.
I4 to V6 Swap: lol that's funny, never heard about bangee cords before, original.
big_p31: yeah, I saw those gay F & F covers, I thought the same thing - RICE. I'll just get that box, I'd like it to be all neat and pretty
Friend of mine that I met here gonna wash my engine bay on saturday, then I'll get a box in. Time to organize my engine bay.

Camrymax - That's a true story. Both of my friends did have tie downs, and tech said to get bungee cords. They found some, and they were allowed to run at the track.
