Unhappy Remove tar spots and not hurt paint

I was doing a quick wash on my 99 Camry. The bottom is covered with little black specs of tar. I'm having trouble removing them with soap so what store product do you guys recommend that will not hurt my paint?

Also, I heard recently that certain soaps can remove the protective wax finish. Have you heard this and what is the groups suggestion for good regular cleaning?

Thanks.

or, when I am lazy, I spray wd40 on a rag and dab on the spot and wash the car someother time, white cars are oil magnets.

Try bug & tar remover. It comes in a spray can. Autoparts stores will have it.

Dish washing detergent will remove wax.

For regular cleaning use any car wash soap.
