I ddint come across this anywhere, but some guy i think on camryman forums said the greddy evo cat back wouldn't fit on a 4 cyl camry. So that made me think about the apexi ws muffler... would that fit on a 4cyl camry? apexi's website doesn't say if fits both teh v6 and 4cyl or just the v6. So does anyone know or have the apexi ws muffler on their camy?

uhmm...i have a '99 4 banger myself & have the apex-i ws cat-back & it was a direct bolt-on for me. i love the way it looks & it is kinda quiet until you get on the gas which i also like
btw, a greddy evo cat-back will bolt-up to the 4 banger too...
here's a couple of crappy pics of mine: (sorry for the crap quality, these are old pics)
hope this helps,
Keri

Ok i here's the setup I'm thinking about... a magnaflow muffler 14815
and a magnaflow resonator 14415 (Diameter: 4 inch, inlet/outlet: 2.25, core:2.5, overall length: 20 inch) or a magnaflow resonator 14615 (diameter: 6 inch, inlet/outlet: 2.25, overall length: 20 inch)
Which you guys think is better and will fit under my car? the 4 inch or 6 inch diameter resonator?
Also I got 2 estimation for prices ...A) 150 for piping without resonator & 200 with resonator...B) 15-20 per foot of pipping (not sure if there's more charges)
Sorry for being a nusiance

i have the greddy evo catback system on my 2000 camry 4cyl. yes it is a direct bolt-on. and yes it will work on 4cyl. I also considered the apexi worldsport catback....it also fits a 4cyl. Whoever said the greddy and/or apexi ws WON't fit on a 4cyl camry was wrong...
DAMMMIT!!! Now I got to re-think this... I think I'm starting to get a headache heh. Is the greddy evo loud? or is it like the apexi? Does anyone have the trd muffler? Is the Trd muffler a cat-back also? Damn...Sorry guys so many questions...I'm not sure which one to go with either now...

i wouldn't go w/the TRD myself...its actually a Boryla exhaust and only an axle-back...in other words its just the muffler itself no b-pipe back to the cat. i have heard that the TRD muffler has a loud/droning sound at highway speeds, myself i don't care for the sound of it.
the greddy is louder than the apex-i, but is nice and deep and not obnoxious to me. the apex-i is relatively quiet which is fine with me...its not too overpowering which is what i wanted
one thing also about getting the cat-back is that w/my apex-i the b-pipe going back to the cat tucks up in under the car much much nicer than the stock setup...in other words when/if you already have dropped the car you don't have so much of a concern of a low hanging pipe that could scrape the cement.
good luck on deciding....
Keri

i don't have money to get WS cat back so i was thinking if i only get Apexi WS universal muffler and custom pipe. will that be same thing as the WS cat back? just different pipe right?
thanks

No guarantees that it will be the same. You can only guess that it will be unless you have the actual cat-back sitting in front of you to copy. R&D has gone into the design of the piping so you get what you pay for.
I have the first gen Greddy Evo and I love it. Both are excellent choices. The Apexi is quieter and has a more stock like appearance. The Greddy has a large can and tip and is a bit louder. Can't go wrong either way though.
