Putting on 5mm H&R Spacers
So I finally decided to put on 5mm H&R spacers on all 4 wheels, replacing the cheap 1/4 inch spacers that I had. I had 7 full turns with the lugnut on the front and about 6 and half turns on the back, not including the part where I actually really tightened it with the wrench, so I'm guessing I got 1 to 2 more turns after tightening. So I think it would be safe to say that I don't need to put on the h&r studs that came along with it, right? Don't you need only 6.5 turns? (And I put on the spacers with the flat side facing out, is that right?
Anyway, I am hearing a popping noise in the passenger front wheel area. I only hear it if I'm going from Drive to Reverse or Reverse to Drive, or when I make a really sharp turn. It could be random. Car is at the 90k mile mark. Anyone know what is going on?
