strut bars

is there a difference between the 20$ strut bars on ebay and the more pricy ones? forgive the noobish question.. but aint aluminum, aluminum?.........and do they make rear bars for gen 3?

I was looking for rear bars too. Maybe nobody makes them because you would have to cut up your rear parcel shelf to mount them. In itself the metal under the parcel shelf looks pretty strong.
Don't know about the ebay $20 strut bars. Looking at those also, but so far nobody feels any difference.

i have an ebay bar, i can definately feel a difference. if i was going to spend the a hundred bucks or so on a bar i'd get a whiteline rear sway bar, it would do a whole lot more for the handling than a strut tower bar.

aha, got it, rear sway bar is at www.ctmotorsport.com, I ordered mine and am waiting, came very highly recommended. I was thinking rear tower strut bar, to join the top or your rear struts together. Used to be the thing with boy racers when I lived in Singapore. They did work on especially hatchbacks and lighter Japanese vehicles.
