I got out of Shrek 2, got in my car, put the key in the ignition, got to the notch before the ignition, and turned. Click. Nothing. Tried a few more times, and nothing.
Couldn't get it to work, so I called AAA, they said 90 minuites, but the guy showed up in 15! He gave it a jump start and it fired right up! He noticed the clamps that hold the battery wires in were a bit loose, so I got home and tightened them, and it seems to work fine. I have the socket handle in the center console in case it happens again.
It is nice to have THESE sorts of problems, and not a fried electrical system!

Just as an FYI, my car does the same thing from time to time. Only in my case, I think it's the corrosion on the negative battery terminal. I put the special grease on it, but the corrosion still comes back after a few months, so I have the tool in the truck that cleans the terminal and the clamps...
and when i was stuck in the middle of town it took the tow truck an hour to get to me, an another hour and a half to drop it off (15 minute dirve tops) what the hell?? but thats the tow truck guy not AAA
And when my car broke down on Park Avenue and 68th street; they told me they will be there in an hour. An hour later they said another hour. Then they were an hour late. They finnally come and get my car up on the truck in 15 minutes and drove me home in another hour. A total of 3 hours and 45 minutes. Fucking 89 Eagle Premier.
So then the Eagle breaks down again a few months later (When it burned to a crisp with us in the car on the expressway by Laguardia Airport), AAA took a total of only 2 and a half hours. Record time!

How bout that, that allllllllllllways happens to me!!!! The battery connector is loose and I noticed right away that it couldnt be a dead battery because nothing at alll was working, no dim lights or anything so i just played with it and it works, I should tighten it sometime, too busy, but sometimes with the power of the engine turning on, it loosens off, no biggie, as for the tow truck, ya they are usually pretty damn quick but sometimes its not even the tow truck from AAA thats their first.
In 1 case, my friend got into an accident and it was reported by someone walking on the streets and a tow truck overheard the announcement over the radio and got here 2 secs after i got off the phone with AAA.
