you may want to sand with a 400 grit paper very lightly then prime and paint with a flexiable paint. Or better yet don't even paint. Use dye. If it is leather I think you should dye it. Only if it is not high touch spot.

If you sanded it you would just ruin your leather.
And i dun think you really need to paint cause the stuff on top isn't paint but im not exactly sure. You'll prolly just use a few cans of spraypaint?

I think it should come in a spray. Liquid would be extremely hard to do...

^^ NO WAY!

Just got to a shop that deals in leather conditioning..and tell them to re-dye your seats. if you want sections blackened..then let them know about it...AS far sanding..and or painting..this is leather..you shouldn't PAINT something that flexus...they make paintable spray's for fabric seats...but those make the seats not soo smooth (and make the surface like an unshaven beard). So watch what you do with it..best bet...go to a junk yard and find replacement seats from teh same gen camry! good luck!

Oh god let me qoute myself. I know I made mistake with the sanding leather comment. But if you read the rest you would see I corrected myself and say dye it. I said don't paint it. Jeez you guys never read. I left the other sanding part cause I am lazy didn't want to edit.
But if it is for seats don't dye at all. Please don't. A honest professianal will tell you not to dye your seats. Get new leather. You can order them through a leather car interior company where you can order the leather. You get it in any color they have it. Two tone, three tone classic and tuner styles. When you remove you gotta use hog rings for the leather. It's some work but it's worth it.
