I no theres been a million of these but i need help! I just baught the Tokico high performance struts and when i went to have them installed i found out i have sealed struts! So now what do i do? Please tell me that there is a pair out there!!!HELP
ya im lowering my car 1.8" so maybe the KYB wouldnt be good. Im lookin at CTMotorsports right now but it doesnt mention it the struts are sealed or not..well maybe im just drunk but a lil help would be koo.
ebay tokico around 350 shipped, sealed strut it's the whole unit, and it's only marginally cheaper to go with a servicable strut, not to mention a bigger pain in the a$$ to swap them out....
there should be a nut on the top of the strut. unscrew it and take out the shock and put the tokico's in. you may have to heat it up with a torch and need a vice to unscrew it. that what i did to mine. i had to take out the old cartridge from the strut assembly and i replaced them with the tokicos.

Dude, he said he had sealed struts. He can't do what you described. Instead of a nut, his struts have a weld bead there...
