1. Go to a junkyard a get 4 used servicable struts.

or

2. Return the ones you got and get the correct struts.

What's they big hassle?

KYB Gr2 is as close as you can get.. got mine installed last month and I love them!

Although, if your car is lowered more then 1.3" they tend to blow fast I hear

Tokico makes both servicable & non-servicable struts

Get the sealed ones from CTMotorsport... they'll run you about $100 more though.

ebay tokico around 350 shipped, sealed strut it's the whole unit, and it's only marginally cheaper to go with a servicable strut, not to mention a bigger pain in the a$$ to swap them out....

there should be a nut on the top of the strut. unscrew it and take out the shock and put the tokico's in. you may have to heat it up with a torch and need a vice to unscrew it. that what i did to mine. i had to take out the old cartridge from the strut assembly and i replaced them with the tokicos.

Dude, he said he had sealed struts. He can't do what you described. Instead of a nut, his struts have a weld bead there...

Hmm, maybe there's a market for buying struts with springs already mounted.

Still waiting for my H&Rs and Tokicos
