New tailight plans- opinions?

hey guys, I have been tossing around the idea of getting new tail lights. I currently have the all clear tails but I am starting to get a bit sick of them. I am also worried about how functional they are- they dont seem to light up a genuine red, theyre more pink. After getting a ticket recently, im worried about the legality of them as well.

So for a change I was considering buying the red and clear tails. If I did that I would also get a new panel and leve both the reverse lights and the tail lights. That way the dash light wont constantly be on. What do you guys think, keep em how they are or go with my idea? heres my car domain page, it has the current pic towards the top and the photoshopped one at the very bottom. Any input is apreciated.

yeah, the whole jdm thing is pretty cool in my opinion, its just really hard and expensive to get ahold of that stuff right? I like the clear look over amber just because I have the clear corners in the front, but I think a little red wouldnt hurt to spice the car up, plus it would match the center mounted window tailight.

yeah the red and clears are legal, which really appeals to me right now, and so does the visibility factor... the last thing i need is to get rearended.

Some company use to make them

and, dude I'm really sorry to hear that you got a ticket.
BTW, your problem could have been easily solved at night by painting your Taillght bulbs Testors Candy Apple Red. A can of this spray paint can be easily found at your local Wal-Mart for $3.00. It would still let light go through and at night they don't even look like clear taillghts because the bulbs glow very red
