I was looking at some Ebay reverse glow gauges and considering the price, I was wondering if they were
1- of any quality? (will it break in my hands, is the blue kind of cyan or more of a nice, darker blue like in stock indiglos some quality cars have these days)
2- worth it? Should I go on and buy them?
3- easy to install (do you think all the stuff needed is there?)
i got the silver ones and have had no problems with them. as for the color i cant really say because i have nothing to compaire it too sence i am slightly color blind in blues and greens. as for instlation it was pretty easy, but i had to use double sided tape to make the tack and speedo stay in place. but they lined up good with the stock ones and seem pretty good quality to me.

Is a power inverter just something about making the fuses deal with the power going into the gauges (or whatever) or something to control the brightness of the light color?
Cuz I'd like to be able to make mine look dark blue!

if by rebuild you mean had to drop a new (used) engine in there, then yes...i blew the old one about a year ago, some where around 300,000.
i think i got my gauges from procarparts on ebay...its been like a year and half. so im not really all that sure anymore...the gauges are silver in the day (another reason why i went with silver for my car )...ill see if i can get some daytime ones some time. and theres a knob that you can adjust the britness of the blue (or green, i think)
as far as seening the orange stick...im not really sure...i hardly ever look down...but i guess it looks like it does in the picture..hahah and i just got home too from driving around ill try to pay better attention next time im out
careful of the cheap ebay ones. mine right now have the "ill work when i feel like it" sydrome. ever since i drove to vegas (headlights on damn near 8 hours) theyve acted pretty funny.
install was correct, i even uninstalled the wires and remounted them. but it works intermitedly. im guessing its a cheap relay.
get the more expensive ones ( i think they run about 30 bucks but they are made for the cars) i got the universal ones with cutouts.
