Light Help NEEDED ASAP Big pics Sorry

Ok for those that dont no i was having trouble like 2 weeks ago my high beam in my passenger side wasnt working cause a wire was ripped

So i got a new connector, all went ok yesterday but it was taped up so today i go and soder it and now it doesnt work

i only have a high beam and no low beam

Did the solder do anything, cause i even took it off anf still no low beam


Sorry for the pics but u need to see what im talking about
help please

no help
so many viewed but no help
cause for now i cant drive at night only one headlight


can you atleast tell me what each wire is for


yellow with red - power?
green and red - ?
black and red is the negative

maybe if i switch the green with the yellow one the low beam would work??

^ Use a DMM and test the wires.

Turn on the headlights and you should see +12V between one of the wires and ground.

Then turn on the highbeams and you should see +12V between one of the other wires and ground.

And the other wire leftover is the ground.

see i hooked it up right it was fine yesterday but today when i soldered it, it stoped working like the bulb went on then cut out

what happened?

Can you meet up during the day this week or next? And do you any crimps, strips or crimp caps?

Don't use tape for permant electrical jobs, you should also crimp the wires to protect the wires from shorting and other elements.

what kind of sodder did you use? if you used rosin-core sodder you should desodder that and replace it with silver-bearing sodder.

i would say replace the whole wiring. i think patching will cause problem in the future because youre running some very high amps through that wire. if you dont want to replace the wires, you can always switch to HIDs (use the wires that were cut and feed it into the HID ballast)
