4th Generation Help me complete the look!

Bought some cool 'blackout' headlights last month. really affects the profile of the front of the car, but the seller didn't have matching corner lights. After much (fruitless) searching, I thought I'd just disassemble them and paint them myself.

Bought a spare set to be safe, glad I did since they are heat-sealed together and I couldn't get them apart without doing serious damage. Any thoughts?

OOPS!

You can use a heat gun or bake them in an over until the glue soften. But even I fail at this mod. It's trial and error since every lamp manufacturer's glue melt at different temperature. You can tint the corner lamps lightly to blend it better into the car. Night-shade spray is an option or Tamiya/Testors spray paint from most hobby store can do the same.

BTW, Love you Camry. Similar to mine.

Thx for the reply

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be glue; the plastic is fused together. I got a better look at the seam once I broke it. It's definitely heat-welded and I don't see a way to get through except with some kind of micro-saw. Next step is a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel. I thought of painting/tinting the outside housing, but was afraid it would look tacky!

/really like your wheels, BTW
