Question A-pilar cover removal

Hey TN... I did a search but no luck.

I'd like to remove the A-pilar cover on my 97Cam to see if I can fit a flush mounted tweeter in them. I've removed the C-pilar cover before to take the rear parcel shelf cover off before and door panels, but never up front.

Basically two questions, does the B-pilar cover have to come off first? And, can the A-pilar cover come off without jacking the dash? It kind of fits down in the side of the dash but looks like it could come out.

Anybody done this? Thanks.

Gene

PULL!!!!

The best, and worst thing about Toyotas, is everything is held on by clips. Just pry it loose with a screwdriver. The B-pillar is even easier. I had to do that one to run wiring once. Don't be afraid of breaking them. It's all plastic. Just make sure when you pry, that your next to the clips, and not in-between them.

I kinda do. I moved to long beach but my parents live in Agoura. I occasionally come back once in a while.
