quick intake question...need some help

whats the circumfrene of the intake pipe for the v6 camry? can the EXS TRD intake cone just be put on if the intake box is taken out?...please post thank you very much

umm what part of the intake pipe are you talking? cause teh stock airbox changes sizes all over the place. if you're gonna do sumtin to the intake why dont you just take it apart and measure it?

most short ram pipes have a 3 inch ID (inner diameter)...what r u talkin bout though?

well...i dont know bout using a 3 inch pipe for a cai...then again...i have an i-4 and used a 2.5 inch pipe for it....check with some of the v6 guys

umm....i know theres more than one v6 guy with a cai but i know silver streak made one a while ago...ask him what size pipe he used

i made mine with 3" piping but uh..... dont use my intake as an example... the whole project went totally offcourse cause i messed up one some stuff and it ended up being a ghetto-rigged intake. you can take a look at the thread from when i made it though:

It'd be nice if we knew what year your Camry was....

You'd definitely use a 3" pipe for the V6. I dunno if you have a MAF or AFM but you should be able to attach a cone filter (3" opening) directly to the MAF if you remove the stock airbox. If you have an AFM, then you'll have to get an AFM adaptor.
