i ran into a puddle that corroded half of the clearcoat on my muffler... so now its half dull. i wanna use duplicolor paint, and black is the #1 color on m mind right now. what do you guys think, will it look crappy?
ive also been thinking about sanding it and giving it that dull titanium look. once that is done, will gloss cote make it all shiny again?
input please...

I went BBQ paint too. And keep the can for touchups.
Had a Mitsubishi, that I found high temp paint color of white. I had performance headers and painted them, great effect, the bright color made the darn things look way bigger and I could continueto touch it up. Wish I could do same to my V-6 but no headers available.

Oh, but they do make headers It just takes work to find them.
Thanks 88LE.
The only problem with using that is that I would want a metallic color. Not just solid. I guess just go with Dupi

It stilll won't be metallic. Just shinny. Not what I need. And clear coat is expensive. But I guess I will need some now that I'm getting into air brushing. I might clear coat after the metallic paint. Thanks for the idea.
