Wait what?? I thought the purpose of these bulbs was to allow you to see more. Maybe i'm just to tired to realize it but please explain how bad weather affects this.

White light mimics sunlight better...but white light doesn't provide a lot of contrast. HIDs are so bright (lumens) to make up for this. Fog lights are yellow it provides contrast, helping you see in bad weather. I'm gonna try a set of phillips weathervision bulbs to see how they are.
If you want the white, and the light, you'll have to do the 9006/9005 mod with your silverstars. I'm not dissin' them...I'm just sayin' that my experience with them.
Oh...common misconception is that white light is brighter. Brightness is measured in LUMENS which basically measures how much light is being output. The colour of the light is measured in KELVIN (K) which is, in VERY SIMPLE terms, a colour chart, not a brightness chart. Higher K's DOES NOT equal higher light output.
