yeah, its a fuse, and either it'll be a couple of cents to replace, or you may even have spare ones in your fuse box

do you mean the dome lite? If yes then don't worry, those dont cost much. That happened to me with my gen4 camry. I made the same mistake.

i'm pretty stupid with the electronics, will it be labeled inside of the fuse box when i look in?

also, i looked at my battery, cause i thought it'd be easy to disconect, but it looks like a bitch to do so. is it supposed to be difficult? should i be careful when undoing it?

Yes, theirs a label telling you what each fuse is for.

The one your looking for should be labeled "dome".

Loosen up the nut on the battery cable clamp, twist, and pull up.

Hahaha,on the next dome light - close the car door first, don't have to undo battery for that.

i dont remember if i closed the door..... but i did switch the thing to off.... so i figured that was enough....i guess it wasn;t

main problem is, that the bulb was hard to pull out, so i wrapped a screwdrive in one piece of scotch tape, but there was a little tear in it, so the metal touched the metal contacts and sparked

That is weird, there should not be any power to a bulb's socket if it is turned off. Oh well .. learning experience. Guess I really should pay attention to those warnings about disconnecting the battery before starting any work.

another quick question, i bought turn signal bulbs which are 40watt (if i remember correctly), and my current ones are 35watt.... is that enough of a difference to blow the fuse?

I'm not exactly sure if that'll be enough to blow the fuse or not.

But let me ask a quick question for you. What is the code for the bulb that goes in for the dome lights? My dome light just stopped working, so i figure i would change it, but don't know the code. Thanks.
