Wheels pull on acceleration

The front wheels pull slightly to the right on acceleration on my 98 Camry. The front right tire showed some abnormal wear, so I rotated. It still pulls.

Thanks Kobo, I was thinking alignment too, but wondered why the pull was most noticable on acceleration rather than coasting.

Could be torque steer. When you floor it the car pulls to one side? Its a common problem with the V6, even more so if its supercharged. It wouldn't cause abnormal tire wear unless you were smoking your tires on acceleration! Were you?

Not smoking it. Just real easy acceleration, or giving it a little gas at say 40 or 50 rather than coasting. I can then take my hands off the wheel and it will drift to the right.

Yup, that sounds like an alignment issue. My dad's Grand Marquis is doing the same thing.

Check your bushings / have your bushings checked. You might also have something loose. Any clunking noises while driving?
