I saw a alarm system by Buldog Security that says it installs in 10 minutes. Does anyone how any experience with this installation? It comes with shock sensors, current sensors, passive alarming, and an led plug-in. ($39usd) I'm not electrically inclined, how difficult might this be???
Well, i have no idea how easy it is to install it, but i do have a couple things to say.
Stay away from bulldog, they are poorly built
Another thing would be is they sound like ass when they actually go off
If i am right, they do not come with a warrenty, but i will not say that for sure
alot of the speed shops in my area will not install bulldog because they are poorly built, and if something goes wrong with it, the customer will come back saying it is there fault and they should pay for it
DON'T GET IT!
If i were you, i would save up a hundered or so dollars, and get a quality DEI "beginner" alarm, such as Viper, Python, Hornet, etc.

Is this a decent alarm for $95usd , and how do you think i should go about installing it??
thanx
If your not very good at installing electrical things i would pay a professional to do it (anyway DEI likes certified people to do it for the warranty).
Its not TOO complicated, but to make it look clean, and to make sure everything looks right, can be tricky.
If you've never done it before, i'd give yourself about 3 hours to get it in.
Thats another reason not to get it.....bulldog is one of those companies that makes their alarms one compact componet. Siren, sensors, and all in one pretty little box with 2 wires coming out of it. (+12 volt and ground  )
Installing alarms and starters are a pain because of all the wires that need to be spliced and especially since there isn't much slack to any of the wires in your steering wheel area where some of the wires are located...Go to a professional at least they have a warranty for installation!

fer real... get it done professionally so that you have the warranty on both the alram and the installation. my Polar Start alarm/starter took a good 3 hours to install.
you gotta wonder about an alarm install that takes 10 min.
Alarms aren't too hard to install, but remote starters are a pain...all you really need is a voltmeter and a Haynes manual. It takes a little bit of time but most of the instructions are pretty detailed...they even tell you how to splice wires.
I have you all beat.....my alarm/starter took 6 hours. Of course it has a paging system, 6 shock sensors, trunk pin, hood pin, door pin, and pain generators
