Arrow Ran my car at the track tonight

I got a 10 sec camry biotches, in the 1/8 mile that is
Me and my buddy with a 98 C5 Vette (slightly modded) went tonight to an the 1/8 mile track near Tuscaloosa. I have gone before to watch but never ran it ..... anyway:

FIRST run (dont laugh it is my first run EVER) i got an 11.05 with a 2.567 60ft time @ 65.58 mph. Of course this is after driving on the interstate for 30 miles and not cooling it down much

SECOND run i got a 10.75 at 67.59 mph and my damn 60ft time didnt register but i know it would have been faster cause i got a better launch, pissed me off i wanted to see the time.

Weather~ 80 degrees and muggy as hell, so that didnt help any.

I also ran with my "slicks" (bald ass tires) and with all my shit in the trunk=system, tools, clothes, 3 pair of shoes, racquetball shit, and random crap and more than a half tank of gas. Next time i go i want to take the system and shit out just to see what kind of times i get

all in all i had fun

It looks like it has a nose! haha!

Nice man. Are we gonna see some 1/4 mile times next week?

Remember, every 100 pounds you lose, you drop a tenth of a second. So drop the system. And pound that gas!

actually i kinda like the emblem black like that, but the reason that i had it off was for when we repaint the white, which who knows when that will be , i am not sure where the nearest 1/4 mile is around here, probably Birmingham, but i would like to run it sometime, but i will definately run the 1/8 again in the next few weeks with my car cleaned out. I would post some time slips but i have no access to a scanner right now.

Low 16 or high 15. Depends on elevation.

9 flat, but he has run 8.4 and 8.5 when the weather is not as shitty, both me and him would have run much better if the humidity wasnt 300% ,

yeah i figured id get mid to high 15's in 1/4 with good weather and empty trunk

What the 1/4 mile comes out to all depends on gearing. But yeah, most near stock Camrys run high 15's

Smokin'Tires is right. My camry will NEVER run 10s. Ever.

That's a pretty fast camry you have there.

VIN DIESEL: You owe me a 10 second car.

PAUL WALKER: Just a second. Lemme run to my Mom's house.

*a minute later PAUL WALKER returns with his mother's '00 Camry LE*

PAUL WALKER: There ya go.

VIN DIESEL: Bitchin'!
