Brake fade...

Hey all, I drove the Camry today and noticed some brake fading.

The initial bite was perfect, but it would fade at the end.

Any suggestions?

sound like to me maybe your lines(pressure) or fluid, somebody should be able to give you a more detailed answer though

Don't think its fade if its the same every time you use the brake. Its fade after you drive for a while and stopped couple times.
Usually low cost/stock pads are like that, non-progressive. Increasing paddle travel doesn't increase stopping. Get some semi-metalic pads. MotorMaster one is ok. EBC Green is the best.

Oh maybe you need to change brake fuild too.

Ebc greens are great if you don't mind changing your pads every oil change. Check out your brakes, rotors and fluid. The pads might be getting worn out. Change the brake fluid if you're changing the brakes. Make sure there is enough useable metal left on the rotors(using a micrometer) Min. machine to spec I believe is 1.030. A good pad to use is the akebono pro-act ceramics or dealer pads(same thing). Also upgrade to steel brake lines.
